Rick Roberts

Rick Roberts is an experienced, Lead/Finish Editor, Producer, and Director with years of critically acclaimed experience in television and digital media. His work as the Supervising Producer of 130 episodes of Last Shot with Judge Gunn resulted in the show’s Daytime Emmy win in 2012 for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program after only its first season on the air, and his Emmy as Producer. To date, it’s the earliest into production that any court show has ever received a Daytime Emmy. Under his continued work, the show received a second Daytime Emmy nomination in 2013. His other well-known credits include Post Producing 140 episodes of the comedy, reality-tv series Blind Date (nominated for 3 Teen Choice Awards), Editing the adventure reality-tv game series Road Rules, the family reality-tv series The WestBrooks as the Lead and Finish editor working directly with the Exec. Prod. and all Network Executives, the action recreation series Deadliest Warrior, Katy Perry’s Witness Launch, a YouTube Red documentary, and is currently the Network Executive Producer for CTN. He is a loving husband of 45+ years, father of three adult sons and three daughters-in-law, and grandpa to five wonderful grandkids. He has always loved the ocean, is a certified diver, and as a young editor, met Jacque Cousteau on one of his first production jobs, which fueled his passion to save the oceans.
