The Natural Marine Extract Ingredients’ Mechanism of Action

Natural Marine Extract is composed of all-natural marine species including Holothuria cinerascens (ashy sea cucumber), Spirulina pacifica (Hawaiian spirulina), Chalmys rubida (Pacific pink scallop), Strongylocentrotus franciscanus (giant red urchin), Holothuria mexicana (donkey dung sea cucumber), Haliotis fulgens (green abalone), Arthrospira platensis (spirulina), Stichopus chloronotus (greenfish sea cucumber), Stronylocentrotus purpuratus (purple urchin), Haliotus rufescens (red abalone), Holothuria scabra (sandfish, a sea cucumber), Ascophyllium nodosum (knotted wrack kelp), Macrocystis integrifolia (giant kelp), Microcystis aeruginosa (blue green algae)

Analysis of Natural Marine Extract using UPLC-MS and LC-MS-MS showed that Natural Marine Extract expresses in the following compounds: Arachidonic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, ubiquitin, triterpenoid glycoside saponin, philinospide E and lipopolysaccharide, fucosylated chondroitin sulfate, Hemocyanin, calmodulin, nucleoplasmin, ferritin, cathepsin D, glycosaminoglycan, bioactive peptides, and 13-Methyltetradecanoic acid. These marine species and compounds have been studied and shown (Please see our references for relevant marine species and compounds) to repair damaged DNA and stimulate DNA expression (which are critical functions of cellular rejuvenation).

Thus, they have positive benefits for thin and atrophic deteriorating skin. This atrophic skin has few fibrocytes and capillaries and while exhibiting a severe loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. How to Use

PRE-PROCEDURE HOME CARE

  • Use 2% topical Miracle of the Sea® (MOTS™) Natural Marine Extract. Choose the almond oil for your 50+ patients and the aloe vera gel (AVG) for your younger clients. A combination of NME in AVG followed by NME in almond oil and heavy massaging has shown an even greater benefit. Note this will double the strength of the NME, it is best to start a few days with just one before combining.
  • Ideally, one capsule a day of Miracle of the Sea Natural Marine Extract Capsules should be added to this protocol.
  • Start MOTS treatment one to four weeks prior to procedure to optimize outcome.
  • Before each use of the almond oil formulation, invert the bottle and shake to assure that the active ingredient is evenly distributed throughout the bottle.
  • Twice a day, apply a moderate amount* of MOTS over all area(s) to be treated, which may include face, neck, chest, vagina, arms, thighs, hands and or body.
    • *Approximately 12 drops (for NME in almond oil) or 5 squirts (of NME in aloe vera gel) over face, 6 drops or 2 squirts applied to the neck region, 6 drops or 2 squirts on the chest, 6 drops or 2 squirts in the vagina and 3 drops or 1 squirt on each hand.
  • ALWAYS MASSAGE MOTS FIRMLY INTO THE SKIN FOR 20 SECONDS AFTER APPLICATION

PROCEDURE

  • Use Professional Use Miracle of the Sea 10% Natural Marine Extract in Aloe Vera Gel applicator. (contact us to order, you must be a professional)
  • Apply alone or on top of PRP or Exosomes, using approximately twice as much product as indicated above for each area because the water based formulation absorbs so rapidly into the skin.
  • For microneedling, microchanneling and electrolyis: place the MOTS 10% NME in aloe vera gel prior to and immediately after the procedure.
  • For Fraxel laser, micro dermabrasion, dermabrasion or acid peel: place MOTS aloe vera gel with 10% NME after the procedure and after the skin has been blotted dry.
    • This includes resurfacing procedures for tattoo removal.

POST-PROCEDURE HOME CARE

  • Use Miracle of the Sea with 2% Natural Marine Extract in aloe vera gel or almond oil formulation or combined as in the pre-procedure.
  • For the first 2 weeks post treatment (twice a day):
    • After soaking area of surgery with cool compresses for 20 minutes apply MOTS twice a day, using pre-procedure quantities, then massage lightly.
  • For 3-4 weeks post treatment (once a day):
    • Apply MOTS once per day, using pre-procedure quantities, then massage lightly.
  • After 5 weeks post treatment and on-going for maintenance (every other day):
    • Apply MOTS NME in either the aloe vera gel or almond oil formulation (or combined) every other day over treated areas, using pre-procedure quantities, then massage firmly for 20 seconds.
      • If needed, follow with a small amount of moisturizer to further massage in the MOTS.
  • Continue Miracle of the Sea Natural Marine Extract Capsules daily
