June 28
Patient came into the office on June 28, with a three week old poorly healing 4 by 5 cm wound on her left knee. See first three photos from June 28. The 4 by 5 cm wound was cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, rinsed with tap water, dried and 1” Miracle Dressing placed.
July 12
The patient returned to the office with the same Miracle Dressing in place and it was falling off as it is designed to do. See last three photos from July 12. This type of wound on this location in an 82 year old woman's wound would normally heal in no less than 3 to 4 months and that's if it doesn't get infected. Leg wounds heal very slowly and have a high probability for infection.
